Cookies and sessions

Money-Wise uses essential cookies and session storage to keep the site secure, remember sign-in state, protect forms and maintain a working checkout or learning session. Blocking essential cookies can prevent account, tool, form or payment features from working. If non-essential tracking is introduced, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated.

Security

We use safeguards appropriate to the platform, including encrypted web connections, hashed account passwords, access-controlled administration, payment-provider verification and restricted configuration secrets. No online system is risk-free, so please use a strong, unique password and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Retention

We retain information for as long as it is needed to provide your account or requested service, maintain legitimate operational and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and meet applicable requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. Information may be deleted, anonymised or securely archived when it is no longer required.

International processing

Some service providers may process or store information outside Kenya. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements that protect the information consistently with this policy and applicable requirements.
